Hickory Point Engine 435 responded to a box alarm request from Clinton Fire Dept. The alarm was for a house, heavily involved in smoke and fire, east of Clinton. Assistant Chief Deal (white helmet with SCBA) and Lt. Josh Trendler (yellow helmet with pike pole) can be seen in the bottom picture.

Hickory Point Engine 435 responded to a vehicle fire Tuesday morning, at 4:05 a.m., in the parking lot of he Hickory Point Mall.The vehicle was engulfed in fire, but was quickly extinguished. As the photo indicates, the vehicle was extensively damaged.

Hickory Point Engine 431 responded to assist Argenta-Oreana Fire Protection Districtwith a combine cab and cornfield stubble fire near Illiniwick Road. The field fire was to the rear of the combine.

Hickory Point Aerial 438 responded to a second alarm request from Clinton fire department for a house fire south of Clinton. One third of the house was competely involved in fire. HP personnel assisted with exposure protection and fire in a ravine at the rear of the house.

Hickory Point firefighters were paged to an RV fire in the northbound lane of U.S. 51 in Forsyth. Also, the RV was pulling a trailer. Engine 435 and 431 responded and found the front of the RV completely engulfed in flames.

Hickory Point Aerial 438 responded to a request for possible assistance to Maroa Countryside Fire Department for a vehicle in Lake Fork Creek off of Lake Fork Road. While enroute, Maroa determine that the aerial would not be need and Hickory Point returned to quarters.

Hickory Point responded to a general fire alarm activation at the Homewood Suites and found that burnt muffins had triggered the alarm. No further service was required.

Hickory Point Engine 435, with Haz Mat personnel, responded to a reported leak of a white liquid in the roadway on Lucile Avenue, east of U.S. 51, next to McDonald's restaurant. The liquid was coming from a delivery van drum container which had tipped over.

Hickory Point Engine 435 and Aerial 438 responded to a kitchen fire on Doneta Avenue Monday evening. Warrensburg firefighters were first on the scene with a quick knockdown in and around the gas kitchen stove and cabinetry.

Hickory Point Squad 433, Brush 434 with the National foam trailer, and Engine 435 assisted Argenta-Oreana firefighters with an electrical distribution substation transformer on fire. A considerable amount of foam was used to control and eventually, smother the fire.

Hickory Point Rescue 437 and Engine 435 responded to a two semi vehicle accident at the intersection of Weaver Rd. and U.S. 51 in Forsyth. Using a hydraulic ram and box cribbing, firefighters assisted in removing one semi engine from underneath the rear of the other semi.
